Premedis is a study tool designed solely to prepare students for medical school entrance examinations. The content provided is for educational purposes only. It does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Do not rely on Premedis for professional medical decisions.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") cover your use of the Premedis website and mobile applications (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. The Service is provided by Oliver Petrovič, located at Ovocinárska 39, 949 01 Nitra, Slovakia ("Premedis", "we", "us").
1. Accounts and Access
- 1.1 One Person, One Account. Your account is personal to you. Sharing login credentials with other individuals (e.g., sharing one subscription among a class or group) is strictly prohibited.
- 1.2 Device Limits. We reserve the right to limit the number of devices that can be logged into a single account simultaneously (e.g., 3 devices) to prevent abuse.
- 1.3 Termination. We may suspend or delete your account if you violate these Terms, particularly regarding account sharing or data scraping.
2. Subscriptions, Trials, and Refunds
2.1 Apple App Store & Google Play Subscriptions
If you purchase a subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, the following terms apply:
- Payment: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID (iTunes) or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Renewal Charges: Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the then-current price.
- Management: You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal by going to your Account Settings on your device after purchase. We cannot cancel the subscription for you.
- Unused Trial: Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
- EULA: Your use of the licensed application is also subject to the Apple Standard EULA.
Free Trials
We may offer free trials.
- No Payment Method Required: If we do not ask for payment details, your trial simply ends after the period.
- Payment Method Required: If we require payment details, the trial will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.
Refunds & Withdrawal
EU Customers: By subscribing, you consent to the immediate delivery of digital content and acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal (the 14-day cooling-off period).
Voluntary refunds are at our discretion and subject to the policies of the payment processor (Apple/Google/Stripe) used to purchase the service.
3. Intellectual Property & Usage Rules
The entire database of questions, explanations, images, and software code ("Content") is the proprietary property of Premedis or its licensors.
Strict Prohibitions
You agree NOT to:
- Scrape, crawl, or mass-export data from the Service.
- Access our internal APIs programmatically or via unauthorized third-party clients.
- Copy, redistribute, or sell the questions or explanations.
- Reverse engineer the application source code.
4. Disclaimers & Liability
Service "As Is": We strive for high availability, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We are not liable for downtime (e.g., server maintenance or outages) that may occur during your study time.
Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Premedis shall not be liable for indirect damages (such as failure to pass an exam). Our total liability for any claims regarding the Service is limited to the amount you have paid to Premedis in the 12 months preceding the claim.
5. User Content
If you post feedback, create notes, or create questions, you grant Premedis a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use that content to improve the Service. You agree not to post content that is illegal, offensive, or violates the rights of others.
6. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Slovakia. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the competent courts of the Slovak Republic. If you are an EU consumer, you also benefit from mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you reside.
